“One Tree Hill” fans once again proved their passion today. Tickets to “An Evening with One Tree Hill,” a panel discussion and celebration of the show that has called Wilmington home for the past nine years, sold out in about five minutes this afternoon.
Tickets to the event, sold through online ticket seller Etix for $50 for the public and $10 for students, went on sale at noon. By 12:05, no more seats were available. The event will be at the Beckwith Recital Hall on the campus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington at 7 p.m. Oct. 30. The venue seats only a few hundred people.
As of 2:20 p.m. Friday, tickets were still on sale for a live simulcast in the nearby Lumina Theater. Those tickets are $10-$20 and are available here.
According to the ticket site, the event will feature a moderated roundtable discussion with the cast and producers, a Q & A session with the audience, video clips and live musical performances. It will be recorded and included as a special feature on the Season 9 DVD set.
Couldn’t get a ticket? Keep checking this blog in the coming days. We *might* have a contest you’ll be interested in… (Insert wry smile here).
