Why we love him? Killer smile and killer bod and GREAT actor – what more could you ask for?
Where can we see him next? Seems that he’s sticking with One Tree Hill for now but has appeared in a short entitled Z with Helena Barrett and Chris Coppola.
James Lafferty
Where have you seen him? James Lafferty has been acting since he was six but he’s most known for his roles as Tad on Once and Again and Nathan Scott on One Tree Hill.
Why we love him? We’ve watched him grow up on One Tree Hill to one very fine and irresistible man as Nathan Scott. From the mean guy who started on the show opposite Chad Michael Murrey to the sensitive and manly guy he is now, James Lafferty has captured our hearts.
Where can we see him next? His 2011 release of The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy out is out in selected theatres while he has Lost on Purpose and Sam currently in post and pre-production.

I don’t know about the rest of you One Tree Hill fans, but I almost died waiting to find out if the show got picked up for a season 9 and… Woo hoo! It got picked up for 13 episodes! And after seeing how much you guys responded to my inteview with ShantelVanSanten (Quinn), I knew I just had to talk to her partner-in-crime, Robert Buckley. He’s handsome. He’s funny. And damn, he’s responsible for transitioning Clay from a Tree Hill newbie to an amazing character we all came to adore. That’s not exactly easy for an actor!
Rob and I chatted about the tonight’s finale, next season, his friendship with Shantel, rapping and a whole bunch of other awesome stuff. I dare say it was my favorite interview ever. Not only did he have me cracking up the entire time, but he was super charming and gave great answers!
Note: I interviewed Rob literally an hour before the renewal was announced (seriously, an hour!), so you’ll notice that we are still speculating.

Ever wonder what music helps some of your favorite Hollywood hunks get through their grueling workouts? Well, wonder no more! We recently caught up with both celebrities and athletes at Gatorade’s G-Series Fit Launch Party to find out what is getting heavy rotation on their workout playlists.
“I just put on some Led Zeppelin, “When the Levee Breaks,” Chace Crawford said. “I like the old school rock stuff, maybe a little Lupe Fiasco. I like rock, Nirvana and ACDC.”
“High School Musical” alum Corbin Bleu trades in his show tunes for heavy metal when hitting the gym.
“I’m all about rock, heavy rock. [I like] a lot of Disturbed and a lot of Metallica,” he said.
When your full-time job is to be in shape, like swimmer and six-time Olympic medalist, Ryan Lochte, listening to something that keeps you motivated while swimming all those laps is a no-brainer.
“My workout playlist is anything with a good beat,” Ryan said. “I love hip-hop. My favorite artist is Lil Wayne, so I’m always bumping some Lil Wayne.”
Yet, “One Tree Hill” star Robert Buckley wasn’t afraid to tell us he mixes his love for rock with his soft side.
“I have everything from Rage Against the Machine,” Robert said. “There might be a little bit of Sade on there. It’s a wide variety.”

Prior to him joining One Tree Hill, we’ve seen Robert Buckley in a variety of film and television roles. Though Buckley says no role has challenged him as much as his current one of Clay Evans. And no wonder! It’s been non-stop drama for Buckley’s character. It’s no doubt that with the ghosts and crazy stalkers following him, the plot thickened with Clay’s move to Tree Hill and based on the way we left him in season seven, the plot won’t be getting any thinner anytime soon for Clay. As we saw in last week’s season premiere, Both Clay and Quinn were left for dead by the ‘crazy stalker’ and that is what’s going to kick off the intense ride for Clay, Buckley told me when I caught up with him on set last month. Which was quite an adventure on its own with Buckley’s fun sense of humor finding its way into his discussion about Clay, his time on One Tree Hill, and on his work with his on-screen leading lady Shantel VanSanten, who joined us for the interview. If you love them as Clay and Quinn, that great on-screen chemistry comes from their obvious great friendship in real life. See for yourself!
