When asked to sum up the final season for her “One Tree Hill” character in one word last fall at a farewell event in Wilmington, Daphne Zuniga smiled and simply said, “Sex.”The actress, who plays Victoria, the icy mother of fashion designer Brooke Davis Sophia Bush on the locally filmed show, didn’t elaborate at the time. But I couldn’t help but wonder if the recent arrival of Victoria’s ex-husband, played by Richard Burgi “Desperate Housewives”, might be the reason for Zuniga’s word choice. Is it safe to assume that Brooke’s mom and dad will be hopping into the sack?“You can if you like,” a coy Zuniga told me recently at a charity event in Los Angeles. “I’d go that way if I were you, but I’m not going to be a spoiler.”If the two do get together, they need to work fast. There are only three episodes left in the show’s ninth and final season. And Victoria won’t appear again until the March 28 episode.
