Growing up as an only child Lisa Goldstein said she was sometimes bullied for being unique and what elementary-aged kids considered ‘different’. But as the One Tree Hill actress recently shared with Team True Beauty, she wouldn’t ever change being herself because it’s all about being ‘Loud and Proud’ of who you are and not keeping yourself in a box to please others. During our interview Goldstein strongly emphasized on the importance of everyone embracing their differences and taking what makes them unique and doing something great with it!
Goldstein also shares an important lesson on how we can all pull out positives from our insecurities and discusses what she believes true beauty really means. Those kids in school may have teased her for being ‘different’, but speaking to Goldstein you quickly see it’s what made her different that makes her special and gives her that true beauty.
