One Tree Hill's executive producer Mark Schwahn has revealed that Haley will continue to struggle with depression.The CW
Haley, played by Bethany Joy Galeotti, became depressed in the last season after the death of her mother.
Schwahn has now revealed that Haley will still have some problems but added that she will start to focus her energy into working at a crisis centre.
"We saw her breakthrough coming in [last year's] finale, and that's the direction she'll continue to go," he said. "She'll still struggle a bit and she says that to Nathan. The crisis centre extends from those things."
Schwahn explained that Haley's work at the centre will also stem from Quinn's near-death experience.
"Haley decides when Quinn is in peril, 'I want to give back' and says, 'If you'll just see her through this I'll be better about remembering that I have a lot of good things in my world'," he said.
One Tree Hill continues on Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
