Sophia Bush broke down in tears after she was asked to direct the penultimate One Tree Hill episode, calling it an “amazing honor” to be put in charge.
The actress, who plays Brooke Davis in One Tree Hill, sobbed when producers called her into a meeting and asked if she wanted to step behind the camera.
Bush has directed the show in the past, but insists it was “very poignant” to helm the second to last episode.
She recalls, “It was this weird thing where I was like, ‘Why is everyone sitting down? I feel like I’m being called in the principal’s office.’ I burst into tears and acknowledged what an amazing honor that was to be trusted with that.

Mark promises that the series finale (sob!) will not leave a couple or storyline out in the cold. “You go into a series finale and you want everyone to be represented, so if you’re not interested in some of those couples there will be parts of the finale you won’t be interested in,” he reasons to us. “Either way, I feel like the emotions in the finale and the tone of the finale is very much One Tree Hill and is very indicative of where we started.” Excuse us while we go back into denial that this is ending.

Sophia Bush - Sophia Bush Hosting Girl Scouts Anniversary Celebrations

Actress Sophia Bush is set to play host to the Girl Scouts of America next month (Apr12) at a special event to mark the organisation's 100th anniversary.The One Tree Hill star will head up the Century of the Girl Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia on 21-22 April (12).Performers Diggy Simmons and Veronica Ballestrini will take to the stage at the event, and the Girl Scouts will hear inspirational talks from speakers including charity:water founder Scott Harrison and United Nations Vice President of Global Partnerships Elizabeth Gore.Bush says, "I am honoured to host the upcoming Century of the Girl Expo. I hope to enable young girls to harness their unique importance, find their voice and realise the power of You."

Scene switches Julian in his meeting. It is going ok. He smiles.
Brooke is on the River walk. She is telling her mother how pissed off she is at her father. They are putting together the burning boat festival.
Haley is going over her speech with Lydia for the burning coat festival. Nathan and Jamie are gone having some guy time.
Mouth comes running up to the river court. He meets up with the boys. He is looking better and has been working out.
Clay is setting up a room for Lagan. He is coming over for a sleep over. Quinn tells Clay he has done a good job. She says he has forgotten one thing in the room and brings in a picture of Sara.
Julian calls Brooke and he says they bought it. Julian is doing a dance. He needs to finishing writing the script. He thanks Brooke for believing in him.

'Shelter' cast grows: Will 'One Tree Hill' scribe Mark Schwahn have another hit?

Say what you will about "One Tree Hill's" often outlandish
storylines and occasionally overwrought melodrama, but when it comes
down to it, a network television drama that lasts nine years is nothing
to shake a stick at. It's no surprise that The CW is looking to stay in
business with creator Mark Schwahn, whose J.J. Abrams-produced pilot "Shelter" is a contender for the fall schedule.
One of our favorite pilot scripts of the season, "Shelter" centers on a summer resort in Shelter Bay, Maine. Returning staffer Mitch, a mischievous young dreamer (aren't they all?), comes home to Shelter for the summer in the hopes of reuniting with a former love interest, but instead, new romances and rivalries spark.
Though Mitch has yet to be cast -- we're hearing Schwahn is looking for a "young Channing Tatum" type -- Hannah New was cast this week as female romantic lead Kathryn Gilchrist, who arrives at Shelter Bay for her wedding to a professional baseball player. New is well, new, with "Shelter" marking her English-language debut. Raised in London, New speaks fluent Spanish, Catalan and French.
Eka Darville will play Bobby Repeta, a townie fisherman and longtime friend of Mitch. Fans will recognize the Australian actor from roles on "Terra Nova" and "Spartacus: Vengeance." He can also be seen alongside Hugh Laurie in "Mister Pip," as Pip.
The first actor cast was British actress Elizabeth Henstridge, who will play Grace -- the newly promoted hotel manager whose first week doesn't exactly go as planned.
That marks three relatively unknown, foreign actors cast. Though there's thus far a considerable lack of recognizable star power, "Shelter" will stand on a strong script. It recalls The WB's signature fare like "Dawson's Creek" and "Everwood," the young casts of which were also made up of new faces.
"One Tree Hill" fans dreading the end of their favorite series, which wraps up with its finale event on April 4, will find some familiar ground here should The CW pick up "Shelter." It harkens back to "OTH's" humble beginnings, with no shortage of earnest young men, romantic pining set to indie music, and, of course, poignant sports metaphors.

Nathan tells Julian to hurry up. He had never been in a cop car and
he doesn’t know where the siren is. Dan says it is switch in the middle.
Nathan tells his dad it will be ok. Dan flashes to Karen and the word
murder being written on the wall.
Brooke hears Julian over the cops radio and she is gone.
Dan is remembering shooting Keith. They pull up to the hospital. Haley is running around the hospital looking for Nathan. She sees him He says Hi Hals. She says say it again. They hug and kiss.

Clay is Nate and he is telling him about Logan. They are both taking in the fact that one Nate was kidnapped and two Clay is a father.
Haley and Quinn hug. Haley thanks Quinn for being so supportive. They talk about Logan. As Haley says it must have been hard for Logan to grow up with out a father and that he will come around Clay walk up behind her. She turns around and gives him a hug and congratulates him.
Brooke is with her dad. He says he doesnt want to talk about designs he just want to focus on her.
Nate wakes up haley who is sleeping in the hospital bed. He is excited that Lydia is walking. Haley bursts into tears. She says she had been trying to keep it together for so long and it was so hard trying not to imagine what it would be like not waking up to Nathan everyday.
Dan wakes up to Nathan sitting next to him and he asks who died. Nathan says this is his fault. Nate says that friends and family want to see him. Haley and Quinn hug. Haley thanks Quinn for being so supportive. They talk about Logan. As Haley says it must have been hard for Logan to grow up with out a father and that he will come around Clay walk up behind her. She turns around and gives him a hug and congratulates him.
Brooke is with her dad. He says he doesnt want to talk about designs he just want to focus on her.
Nate wakes up haley who is sleeping in the hospital bed. He is excited that Lydia is walking. Haley bursts into tears. She says she had been trying to keep it together for so long and it was so hard trying not to imagine what it would be like not waking up to Nathan everyday.
Julian is in his sound studio and pull out Lucas’s book. The Unkindness of Ravens.
Jamie and Nate are playing checkers on the hospital bed and Clay is watching through the glass.

After nine scandal-filled, scheme-riddled, redemption-seeking seasons, beloved One Tree Hill baddie Dan Scott on Wednesday night bid an emotional — and final — farewell to the shrub-deficient town.
While his death wasn’t entirely unexpected, the rather exceptional hour of the long-running CW series pulled off a feat rarely seen in TV today: the unspoiled return of a fan fave character.
Craig Sheffer — who portrayed Keith Scott until the noble character was murdered by Dan in Season 3 — reprised his role for the final moments of the series’ pen-penultimate episode, helping usher his brother into the afterlife — and a heavenly one at that. What’s more, Keith even offered Dan his forgiveness for that fateful day nearly a decade ago (in Tree Hill time).

Hide the sharp objects! Paul says tomorrow night’s ‘One Tree Hill’ is going to be a nail-biter!
In case you weren’t able to tell from the intense promos, the March 21 episode of One Tree Hill is going to be the most emotional one yet — and Paul Johansson urges
you to plan accordingly. Fans should “take any glass objects they have
in the house, stomp on them, then walk in a puddle of iodine,” Paul
tells HollywoodLife.com. “Therefore, they will be numb.”
The episode, titled “Danny Boy,” finds Tree Hill’s most controversial character hospitalized after being shot saving Nathan (James Lafferty) — and his life hangs in the balance. But as you might expect, Dan Scott isn’t giving up that easily.
“The character can’t be weepy or weak,” Paul tells me. “That’s not who he is. He takes his licks in life. … I’m very excited for people to see the episode.”
Dan does, however, reflect on the mistakes he’s made in his life — and there are many. But are you ready to forgive and forget?
“I know the audience has felt sympathy for him, but the truth is, Dan was never really forgiven,” Paul
notes. “He feels so horrible about the choices he made, and he wishes
he could do anything to change them — but he can’t. Dan will never ever
be a man that isn’t tortured.
And even though there are only a few episodes left until the show’s
April 4 series finale, fans needn’t worry about what lies ahead for
Paul. He promises to continue channeling Dan Scott in real life,
including actually drowning people in the sea.
“My private life is very similar,” he jokes (I hope.) “I have a couple of people I try to catch in the ocean. I can never find Robert Buckley down there, but I’d sure love to find him.”

Dan and Julian open up a trunk and Julian freaks when there is a
possibly dead drug dealer in the back. Dan says it will be ok noone is
going to jail they are the only one that knows. Then Chris walks up and
asks if the man is dead.
Nathan is still tied to chair. Dmitri takes picture with the newspaper in his lap. He goes to put black thing bag on his head and Nathan with a worn and tired voice asks him not too. And he does not.
Haley is running on the treadmill.
Brooke walks into Karens Cafe. It has been wrecked. She looks across the street.
Chris pokes at the man. He makes a noise. He’s not dead. Chris says he has come to help. Chris followed Haley and that is how he knew where Dan was. Julian is still freakin. He says they should go to cops. Dan says no. He has studied them and warehouse. He doesnt trust them. Julian says he will help. Chris agrees to help but he doesnt like it. Dan hands them a gun. They both look at it weirdly. Dan says in third person he doesnt this.

Part I
“1929 and Bleeding”

Fireflies light up the cobblestone road as, here and there, the
roar of a Dodge or Ford clamors its way up or down the lane. One grows
accustomed to the muggy, breathless evenings of the South. The rabid
mosquitoes swarm, the scent of magnolias is dizzying. The Spanish moss,
which in the sunlight is an ethereal charm, now hangs, looming in the
bug-lit night and hiding war-torn ghosts in its shadows.
The Cape Fear River laps up against the rotten wood and stone below
the backyard gardens of No. 21 Ann Street. In the distance there is a
delicious murmur of some gay affair– music, chatter and the occasional,
irritating laughter of that one inevitable party guest who is three
sheets to the wind and determined to capture the attention of the crowd.
If you were to have peeked your little face over that rotten wood and
stone, you would have seen this very thing.
And, if you had known what you were looking for amidst this blithe
flock, you would also have seen the subtle exchange of a note, from the
hand of an overweening young man holding a match, to the end of
gold-lacquered fingernails clutching the cigarette in play, and
belonging to a young, brunette female. Her eyes are all fire and wit,
her skin is porcelain and powdered, her red lips stretch around a
crooked and coquettish smile; her hair is, her dress is, her shoes are
everything they ought to be for a vogue of 1929. She is the clear belle
of the ball, and he –her swaggering, cigarette-lighting young man–, is
one of many admirers this evening, but the only one enterprising enough
to approach.
Our couple share a impassioned glance as those long, gold fingers
curl around the little page in her palm. And as she tucks the note into
the strap of her gown, a new hand, attached to a Mr. Hayworth, slides

Diamond Gothic began as a short narrative written one bored & rainy evening in Wilmington, North Carolina where I was filming the final season of One Tree Hill. If you know me at all, you know I have a MILLION balls in the air and the idea of starting a new project wasn’t even an option. But if I could collaborate… I thought… And within a few days, the concept of a rotating internet novel was born!
Without hesitation, the HelloGiggles team outstretched a hand to help a fellow sista. They introduced me to the lovely and hilarious JC Coccoli, who I knew would lend a playful and smart-as-a-whip voice to the story and, for another unique voice, I approached long-time galpal, actress & writer Abigail Spencer to be our third authoress. I sent out chapter one and said, “Let’s play!”

‘One Tree Hill’s’ Austin Nichols cast in Showtime’s ‘Ray Donovan’ pilot

As “One Tree Hill” draws to a close, its stars are beginning to find new homes in the television landscape. Zap2it is thrilled to exclusively report that “OTH” star Austin Nichols has landed a role in Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” pilot, alongside Liev Schreiber in the title role.
Ray Donovan is a professional “troubleshooter” in LA,
called on to dig the city’s wealthiest, most elite clientele out of
their various messes. Nichols will play Tommy West, an A-list movie star
who seeks Ray’s help when he finds himself in a tough bind.
Nichols joins a formidable cast full of star names — including
Kate Moennig as Ray’s colleague Lena, Jon Voight as Ray’s father Mickey,
and Elliott Gould as Ray’s mentor Ezra.
He’s not the first “Tree Hill” alum to land a plum TV pilot role. On-screen wife Sophia Bush is starring in “Partners,” a CBS sitcom from the creators of “Will Grace,” and Robert Buckley will appear in supernatural thriller “666 Park” for ABC.

We’re afraid CMM’s recent appearance on One Tree Hill was no joke and will most likely be the last time we see Lucas on the CW show. How we do we know? Because creator Mark Schwan told us so, adding that Lucas will be brought up in passing conversation only. We were on set when Murray filmed his scenes in the airport and unless he filmed something super top-secret for the finale, it seems highly unlikely that the prodigal son will return once more.

'The Finder's' Mercedes Masohn, 'One Tree Hill's' Robert Buckley Join ABC's '666 Park Ave' Pilot

The pair will play a married couple -- he a playwright, she a photographer -- living in the haunted building.
The Finder’s Mercedes Masohn and One Tree Hill’s Robert Buckley are moving to Park Avenue.
The actors have been tapped to co-star in the ABC soap, 666 Park Ave, based on the book series by Gabriella Pierce.
The Warner Bros. TV project revolves arounda young couple that
accepts an offer to manage one of the most historic apartment buildings
in New York City. In doing so, they begin to experience supernatural
occurrences, which complicate and endanger the lives of everyone in the
building.
Masohn will play Louise, a stylish photographer married to Buckley’s
playwright, Brian. The duo lives in the historic apartment building at
the center of the series. They join Lost's Terry O'Quinn, who has been cast as the owner of the building, along with Brothers & Sisters’ Dave Annable and Charlie’s Angels’Rachael Taylor.
For Masohn, this pilot is in second position to her current series, Fox’s mid-season drama The Finder, on which she plays Deputy U.S. Marshal Isabel Zambada.
David Wilcox (Fringe) is attached to adapt the project as well as executive produce alongside Alloy's Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. Alex Graves will direct the pilot.

Luber/Roklin and Buckley is repped by WME, Interlink Management and
McKuin Frankel.
