Ocala Local Saxsen Norton to play Tonya

Ocala's Saxsen Norton will play a character named Tonya in an early season episode of the CW teen drama "One Tree Hill," according to her mother and Ocala Models and Talent agency.

"She thought she was going to have a boring summer, but that didn't happen," said Saxsen's mother, Catherine Achtenhagen. She and Saxsen, 14, traveled to Wilmington, N.C., earlier this summer to film the episode.

Achtenhagen said Saxsen's episode is the second in the show's upcoming season and likely will air the second week of September.

A student at Belleview High School, Saxsen relies on a wheelchair due to a tractor accident at age 4. Saxsen also plays piano and, in 2007, made news when internationally known composer Martha Mier wrote a piece of music specifically for Saxsen titled "Andalusian Adventure."
