StarNewsOnline.com: ‘One Tree Hill’ actor Robert Buckley signs jeans for charity at Wilmington store




Running into TV and film stars around Wilmington is not unusual. But fans who saw “One Tree Hill” actor Robert Buckley at the Aeropostale store in Independence Mall last weekend had a chance to do more than just look and say “hello.”

Buckley visited the teen-centric clothing store to raise awareness about DoSomething.org’s and Aeropostale’s Teens for Jeans campaign. Teens for Jeans encourages young people to donate their gently worn jeans to homeless youth in their own communities.

Last year, more than 200,000 pairs of jeans were donated through the program.

This year, Aeropostale announced it will match the first 100,000 pairs of jeans donated with brand new jeans to be delivered to Haiti earthquake victims.
